The Phoenix Agency of North Carolina, Inc. was established in 1991. Mr. Ross Gerdon and Mr. Rafail Mebel are the principals of the Phoenix Agency of North Carolina, with over 70 years of combined experience in testing and balancing. Ross and Rafail both started testing and balancing services in 1974.

As a member of the AABC (Associated Air Balance Council), we are completely independent of the designers, installing contractors, or equipment suppliers on any project. This assures the Owner of completely reliable, unbiased documentation of the systems and their performance.

Our knowledgeable staff includes an AABC Certified Commissioning Agent, six AABC Certified Balance Engineers (one of whom earned their Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering), and one AABC Certified Test and Balance Technician.

Since our inception in 1991, The Phoenix Agency of North Carolina, Inc. has completed over 200 projects per year, ranging in size from $350 to $200,000. The Phoenix Agency of North Carolina, Inc. is a small business, however, we believe that our relative small size increases our ability to coordinate the individual responsibilities of our employees and enhances communication between team members.

We are proud to say we have been an active participant in the AABC Quality Assurance Program since its inception in 1994, and we have never received a negative response in the questionnaires returned from Owners and Engineers.
